2. How We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technology To Collect Information.

not reasonably identify you directly as an individual.
4. Customer Data
In providing our Service, our Customers may upload data to our systems, which may include personal information or data about our customers’ end users (all of which we call “Customer Data”). For example, our customers may upload personal information relating to our customers’ customers, patients, employees, or others. Customer Data is owned and controlled by our Customers, and any Customer Data that we maintain or process we consider to be strictly confidential. Customer Data is not covered by this Privacy Policy –we collect and process Customer Data solely on behalf of our Customers, and in accordance with our contractual agreements with the Customers. We do not use or disclose Customer Data except as authorized and required by our Customers and as provided for in our agreements with our Customers. If you have any questions about Maqpie’s processing of your personal information, we will direct you to contact the customer who provided such information to us.
5. Third Party Tracking and Online Advertising
We may share, or we may permit third party online advertising networks, social media companies and other third party services, to collect, information about your use of our website over time so that they may play or display ads that may be relevant to your interests on our Site as well as on other websites or apps, or on other devices you may use. Typically, though not always, the information we share is provided through cookies or similar tracking technologies, which recognize the device you are using and collect information, including hashed data, click stream information, browser type, time and date you visited the site, and other information. This information is used to display targeted ads on or through our Site or on other websites or apps, including on Facebook. Email and Text Communications Sent Through the Maqpie Service. Our service provides a platform through which our customers may contact individuals via email, text and voice call. These messages are sent by Maqpie’s customers and Maqpie does not control when or how these messages are sent. If you have received emails or text messages from your provider sent by Maqpie, please contact your provider’s office with questions or to opt-out of receiving further communications.
Modifying Account Information. If you have an online account with us, you have the ability to modify certain information in your account (e.g., your contact information) through “profile,” “account,” “settings,” or “preferences” options provided on the website or service. Please note that Maqpie does not own or control the Customer Data uploaded to our Service by our Customers, and cannot modify or delete Customer Data except at the request of our Customer, or as permitted by our Terms of Service.
When we process your information on the basis that you have consented to such processing, you have the right to withdraw your consent, or ask us to stop or restrict processing the personal information we have about you, at any time by contacting us using the contact information below. You will always have the opportunity to opt out of any new or different uses of your personal information. You may exercise your choices about how we collect and use your personal information consistent with this policy at any time.
7. Data Protection and Security
Data Retention: Following termination or deactivation of your User account, Maqpie may retain your information for a commercially reasonable time for recordkeeping, audit or other purposes. Any Customer Data that we have access to shall be retained, stored, and deleted according to our Agreement with our business customer.
Data storage and transfer: Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which Maqpie or its subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. If you are located in the European Union or other regions with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that we may transfer information, including personal information, to a country and jurisdiction that does not have the same data protection laws as your jurisdiction, and you consent to the transfer of information to the U.S. or any other country in which we or our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities and the use and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.
Keeping information safe: Maqpie cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable physical, technical and organizational measures designed to preserve the integrity and security of all information we collect. However, no security system is impenetrable and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems 100%. In the event that any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Maqpie’s obligations with respect Customer Data are defined in our agreements with our customers and are not included in this Privacy Policy. Each customer will remain responsible for the privacy and security of the Customer Data that it collects and processes and for compliance with applicable data protection laws that may apply to the collection, processing and disclosure of Customer Data through the Services. As the owner of Customer Data, our Customers will be responsible for compliance with any legally required notifications related to Customer Data that been shared with Maqpie through the service.
8. Links to Third-Party Websites and Services
For your convenience, our website and Services may provide links to third-party websites or services that are not governed by this Privacy Policy. To the extent that any linked third-party websites or services you visit are not owned or controlled by Maqpie, we are not responsible for those websites’ or services’ content or information practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site or service before providing any personal information.
9. Children’s Privacy
Maqpie’s website and services are intended for use strictly by adults. We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that any personal information has been collected inadvertently from a child under 13, we will delete the information as soon as possible.
